The Q-Switch Laser operates on two levels:

Post-treatment, your skin may feel slightly warm or pink — similar to mild sun exposure. To maximise results and prevent new pigmentation:

• Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily.

• Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks.

• Use antioxidant-rich skincare (such as Vitamin C) to protect against future damage.

• Schedule maintenance sessions as advised by your therapist to maintain an even skin tone.

A consultation is essential before beginning any pigment reduction treatment, allowing us to assess your skin type, pigmentation depth, and overall goals to create a personalised treatment plan. Because pigment reduction is not a one-size-fits-all approach, your plan will be tailored to deliver the best possible results for your skin.

In most cases, clients achieve optimal improvement with 3 - 6 sessions spaced 3 - 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 3 - 6 months, depending on individual skin condition, lifestyle, and sun exposure. This customised approach ensures safe, visible, and lasting results.
