Before we perform any serious skin treatments , we would like you to understand a little of the science behind peels and microdermabrasion. When performing this kind of exfoliation, we are removing surface debris from the upper most layers of your skin. We are leaving your skin healthy and always apply sunblock after every facial treatment. Daily application of a sunblock (SPF 30 preferably) is essential to prevent any UV damage. We suggest using a sunblock daily regardless as the majority of the correcting we do in the salon is down to UV damage. A great sunblock really is the best age prevention money can buy.

epidermal levelling 30 mins $73

Epidermal levelling is a mechanical form of exfoliation, similar in theory to microdermabrasion.  A sterile surgical scalpel gently removes the top layer of dead skin, the stratum corneum, along with fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).  The treatment is usually repeated every 3-4 weeks to maintain and continue results.

Epidermal levelling triggers the cell regeneration process, improves overall appearance of the skin and creates a smooth hair free surface for increased product absorption and smoother, more precise makeup application.  There is no downtime after receiving treatment.  When appropriate, this treatment can be performed prior to a sonophoresis infusion treatment to improve penetration and, for a more pronounced result. It also teams up exceptionally well with Led Light Therapy. In addition, because of its effects, this treatment is commonly performed prior to a special event, and it is recommended that you have your epidermal levelling treatment at least 48 hours prior to the event. 

Removal of vellus hair will not cause the growth cycle to change to terminal hair.  It may feel different as it grows back since the edges are blunt, but this will not thicken or darken the hair.

Collagen production is stimulated via radio frequency, which quickly tightens the skin as well as filling in fine lines.

Still not sure this is the treatment for you? Some people might be a bit put off by the idea of applying heat to their skin, but in all honesty, it is no more than the heat you would experience say with a hot stone massage. Temperatures are kept low enough you can feel the warmth, but it is not uncomfortable.

Results are immediate, you should notice firmer, brighter skin quickly but you get the added bonus of a cumulative effect. As collagen production kicks up a notch, you will notice fewer fine lines and even firmer skin.
